Introducing the Vesta Guest Chef Series!

From Michelin stars to multi-award winning chefs, we are welcoming Scotland’s top talent to our kitchen at Vesta this year. We’re joining forces to celebrate Scottish food and drink and support our partners, Social Bite, in their mission to end homelessness in Scotland.

Each night, you’ll be treated to a four-course meal including an amuse bouche and a Belvedere Spritz on arrival. Each chef will bring their own unique style to the events.

CRAIG WOOD, THE WEE RESTAURANT
Craig learned his craft in some of the country’s most respected kitchens including Restaurant Martin Wishart, The Royal Scotsman luxury train and the Crinan Hotel. With his ethos to serve simple good food, Craig has secured rave reviews across the UK for his culinary creations.

MARTIN WISHART, RESTAURANT MARTIN WISHART
Michelin starred and multi-award winning, Martin is one of the UK’s most highly respected chefs. He’s trained under the likes of Albert Roux, Michael Roux Jr and Marco Pierre White and with over 30 years’ experience in his fingertips, Martin is quite simply an Edinburgh institution.

NEIL FORBES, CAFÉ ST HONORÉ
Born into a family of chefs, it was his granny’s soup that first inspired a young Neil to get behind the stove and has inspired an award-winning career that’s seen Neil work everywhere from Ballathie House Hotel to Braeval via the Manoir aux Quat’Saisons and the Royal Scotsman luxury train.

GEOFFREY SMEDDLE, THE PEAT INN
Counting both Herbert Berger and Chris Galvin among his mentors, Geoffrey marries classic French techniques with contemporary influences on his menus at The Peat Inn in Fife. Making full use of the East Coast’s finest seasonal produce, Geoffrey has held a Michelin star for the last ten years.

GRAEME CHEEVERS, ISLE OF ERISKA
At only the age of 24, Graeme was one of the youngest head chefs of a Michelin star restaurant, leading the kitchens at Martin Wishart Cameron House. Graeme’s unique style is influenced by European and Asian cooking, and his passion for Scottish produce shines in his mouth-watering plates

MICHAEL SMITH , LOCH BAY
Previously Chef/Director of The Three Chimneys, Michael now owns his own restaurant, Loch Bay, in Skye, which earned a Michelin star in 2018, only 18 months after opening. Here, Michael combines Skye’s superb ingredients with perfect cooking to create simply delicious dishes.
